Dear Sirs, Madam:

It has been brought to my attention that the Law on Government of Brcko District stipulates that Government members are entitled to interim financial compensation only upon termination of their term (Article 35).

This does not allow Government members to receive interim financial compensation in other cases, in particular in case of their resignation.

Therefore, I am hereby amending Article 35 of the Law on Government of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the “Official Gazette of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina” no: 19/07 and 36/07) in the way that in Paragraph 7 of Article 35, number “27” is deleted.

This letter has the legal effect of amending the Law on Government of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You should arrange for this letter to be promptly published in the Official Gazette of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
