Pursuant to the authority vested in me and in furtherance of my Supervisory Order of December 4, 1997, I hereby declare that the prohibition against privatization activity in the Brcko area of supervision is now also applicable to the Federation part of the Brcko pre-war Opstina.
Therefore, effective today, no privatization of publicly owned or operated companies, land, equipment and other property, whether such ownership or action is under local, regional, or Entity authority, shall take place within the Brcko pre-war Opstina until:
- I have agreed on a privatization program in that area in cooperation with the privatization agencies of both Entities and in accordance with the principles laid down in the BiH Law on Privatization of Enterprises and Banks; and
- I have provided written approval for the privatization strategy of each publicly owned enterprise within the Brcko pre-war Opstina.
All transactions in violation of my December 1997 Order and the present Order that may have transferred ownership of any of the aforementioned property are null and void.
